Was comparing oil tanks today. The 3 cylinder oil tanks from 08 + and phazer have just two hoses running to them. The one in the middle of the tank vents to the air box. The upper one connects to the block by oil cooler.
The 4 cylinder oil tanks have a different set up. There are to large hoses that vent from the crankcase.
Anyone know the physics behind the venting? Could a 3 cylinder tank be used on a 4 cylinder?
Actually on a FX Nytro or Vector tank, the top is your "breather vent" and goes to the air box. That middle one is the oil return hose and comes from the engine block.
