i noticed after running 2000 mi., i was down about 3-4 oz. in oil is that normal, do the apex/attak suppose to use some oil?

yes that is normal,yammi notes that you can use up to 1 qt. per 1,000 miles so if you are under 2 qts per your 2,000 miles you are fine.SharkAttak said:

Some guys have found out that they are not really using any oil.
But the deal is, dry sump oil systems make it tricky to get accurate oil level readings.

On my last oil change, it used 1/2 quart for 3200 miles. I find this very acceptable.

I bought mine used 4 months old with 1900 miles. I dont know how he broke it in. He was a real neat freak tho... his garage was cleaner than my house.. he builds race cars so I figured he knew what he was doing...
