Any trick/tool to getting the rubber boot off so I can get a 14mm wrench on the back nut on the bottom a arm? Are the pins/fasteners on the boot just pushed in or do they screw out?
Figured it out...need to take my skid plate off and then put up on jack stands with 2/4 so I shouldn't have to take boots off. Was using a motorcycle lift and needed the skid plate on. Boots were easy to take off on my AC so thought the MC lift would work.
I just yanked mine yesterday. The front bolt on the lower arms are easy through the sub frame. To get at the nut for the back bolt I ended up pulling down the plastic piece (that the rubber boot is rived too) just enough to get a wrench in..didn't have to drill out any rivets.
