Yesterday I traveled 250 km (155 miles) on my raptor.
Needless to say, it was GREAT!

I got about 33 mpg with an average speed of about 45-50 mph.

Its tourist season in Norway, and im sure i flew by atleast 5 motorhomes, and a couple motorcycles on my way.

I also went by my Yamaha dealer and picked up a new HMK Stealth snowmobile pant for half the usual price.

Everyone should own a raptor! What a great ride :-o

Cool report.Keep checking your oil level now and then.Mine was burning a little a month ago but now its back to normal.Just broke the 1000 mile mark this weekend.Got great weather here(no rain for the past 3 weeks),dry as a bone(and dusty).

what part of NL are you from? all puddles and watercrossings are completely dried up. it may be slick but i find myself going much much faster. still no rain in the forcast. bad for people who rely on well water...

Yeah I'll watch the oil level.

Any idea why your bike only burn oil sometimes?
High speed runs(long beaches here). As long as it don,t get as bad as the oil burning of my 04 warrior sled i will be happy.Had my neutral light staying on for a few seconds when i would go in gear.Found out at a atv forum that it may be a lose connection on the switches that screw into the motor near the foot shifter.Might be just water getting in there.May have to put some diaelectic grease on it.

I see. I'll check the oil before next ride. Probably on saturday.

I just ordered a vapor trail tech, anyone tested them?

It seems like a great product. And i like that i get coolant temp and rpm meter.

Will post up some pics when i get it , and do the install.

they are nice. probably going to end up with one on my xt350 when i do the suspension. finally have the jetting done on it.
