Does anyone have the 270 MC Xpress Turbo kit? How do you like it? I'm thinking of putting one on my stock nytro for next season. I have a stage I supercharge kit from MPI on my boosted sled but would like to have more HP. I test rode some boosted sleds last weekend that had different kits: push turbo 180, stage II supercharger, mcx 270 turbo and an impulse at 290 HP on a nypex. I liked the mcx 270 turbo the best but I didn't get to ride it long. If you have one please let me know how you like it?
why wouldnt you just tweak your current Super?

sounds like you were at the Anthony lakes Hill climb. the 270 MCX on pump gas is a nice setup.

Because he wants to sell me his super he takes off for a really good deal
I thought of doing that but it would cost around $3500 and I would still not have the same HP I would have with a 270 MCX turbo. I rode a stage II supercharge kit and the top end HP wasn't close to that of the turbo kit. The supercharger had instant power but not as much top end like the turbo has. Pump gas vs race fuel. I don't want to pay for 110 octane anymore. $6.70 per/gal. I'm running 11lbs of boost on a stage I MPI supercharger and a stage I kit with 8lbs of boost in a RZR 4 both require 110 octane or a 50/50 mixture. I thought superchargers were for me but not anymore after riding the turbos. HP to boost ratio aren't the same. 10 HP to 1lb for turbos and 7+ HP to 1lb for supercharge. Altitude changes effects the MPI kit more then it does the MCX 270 kit. I will keep my supercharge sled as a back up sled and use it depending on the type of riding I'm doing. Sorry hugger70mtnmax it's not for sale. You can find one on www.ksl.com for a good price.

I have run my mcx 270 kit for 5000 miles now with no issues with the kit. I have run 16-17 psi at 7000 feet plus with no issues of detonation on pump premium gas and go. 13 psi at sealevel on premium is safe also. I have been a great kit. Tons of the 270 kits running around here. Would not run anything else. Love it.

No, but I was aware of the event and Outlaw's presence. I have ridden all those sleds before tho.
