Optimum A/F Ratio at cruising speeds

After the first real ride on my 09 Nytro SE with a Powderlites Stage II setup I have found that I have a stumble when getting into the throttle at trail cruising speeds (anywhere up to 60mph). It kinda stumbles and hesitates a second before taking off. You can hear and feel it. When it does this I notice the A/F is reading 10.0-10.7. I am thinking it is too rich and needs to clean out before it will go. What should the A/F be at light throttle and little boost? I will definately call Dave and I am sure he will help me out (Powderlites has been nothing but GREAT) just wanted to ask you guys to.

Thanks

Light throttle cruise should be real happy around 13.5 A/F, then go to 12.0 toward WOT.

Should be a smooth transition with throttle.

Do you think this may help the fuel mileage as well. Not really hammering on it and barely managed 10mpg. Was hoping for a little better.

The way Dave has the rapid bike set up, it runs on the stock map until 1.5 psi of boost. You wont be able to adjust the stock mapping, all you will be able to control is when above 1.5 psi boost. Dave could answer this better.

What are you running for a/f wide open throttle . I was seeing 13 plus on mine today. Where should I start worrying..........now???

Mid to high 11's at WOT. Just talked to Dave and said to check the fuel pressure. It did seem to be a high so I will try it tonight and see if it is any better.

I just rode 3 days with my 2 buddies and I used about 3/4 gallon less on my MPI Apex than a stock Crossfire 1000 and about 1/2 gallon less than a stock Mach Z 1000. My cruise (30-60 MPH) average A/f ratio is 13.5 and my WOT A/F average is 12.0. These fuel usage numbers are with all starting with a full tank and filling up again at the same time and the same distance.

RIGHT NOW!!!!!

Should be 12.0 at WOT
Yup , kinda figured that.
Well , I wonder , does the new Powderlites mapping for Nytro take care of that leaness up top?

So I tlaked to Dave and he told me to check the fuel pressure. Sure enought it was kinda high. Adjusted it to where it should be and the problem is all but gone. However it is now very lean at WOT and at idle. As soon as you turn the pressure up a little to fatten it up at idle the original problem comes right back. ???
