I removed the snorkel from the side panel that was directing air to the clutch! to hopefully get cold air to intake!! What do you think...bad idea?

Just went for a ride to test
+4 c outside and intake temp was 32c
28c difference from outside temp
Is that normal or better?

Haha I wanna do the outside intake but I'm being a scared bitch..lol to cut cab!!!
Is it a big enough difference to do it???
I was looking at side and the extension tube for intake and I looks like I can go threw side panel instead off cab

Just like InRBigness and yamahaguys, mine is outside and the temps are usually within a couple degrees of outside air temp.
Just do it already :sled1:

My right side is open like that from new should there be something there?

It makes a huge difference in intake temps. Don't go through your side panel, it will be a pain every time you take the pannel off. As mentioned above, go through your black vents. I just slowly took material away with a dremel tool.

i'm going to clean it up the next time I remove the hood!!! and frogskin around pipe!!

I was talking about cutting out the rest of the black plastic vent I cut to pass intake threw and putting Frog skin in the opening around the pipe in the vent opening
