6-7 PSI, did you change something with your kit? I thought Dave setup up these kits for 6PSI max
Mine was only making 5 when I first installed it. I shimmed the waste gate actuator to get it to 6 as Dave instructed me.( You just stick a washer between the actuator and the mount. Puts more tension on the spring.)
In real cold air on Monday (-25 C), gauge was showing 7's. It will show 6 in normal riding temps and maybe flash a 7 here and there.
I'm thinking about replacing my gauge with one that show decimal points.

i would not change anything. especially without an intercooler and in a stock motor. the higher compression of a stock motor plus non cooled air means hotter temps. the richer afr means more fuel which is cooling the motor to keep it safe. the hurricane kits have had very little trouble. even running 6 lbs without an intercooler. i belive the reason for that is how dave set up the kit and the afr #s that he runs. i too had to shim my actuator. had 5 when new then dropped to 4. now i have 6 always. never 7. but mine is richer than yours and i am leaving it. couple mpg is cheaper than a new motor.

You don't want to do that!!! first of all the stock fuel pump can only feed enough fuel to get to 7 #'s you need to upgrade to the high flow pump. 2nd of all with the gems and the stock ecu the sled thinks you are running the small injectors even though you are running larger. It will be way rich at idle and cruising speeds. The gems can add fuel from the stock map but not take it away. Adding the 4th injector in the inter cooler and a 2nd gems that only comes on when at wot is the way to go. It totally changed my sled even at 7 #'s I was running last season. now at 9 and 12 on the switch AFR's are at 10.6 at WOT and she is a happy girlI need bigger injectors! Engine is setup better now, less compression and head studs, but stock fueling seems to be maxed out at 5 pounds. Been riding in cold weather too so that may make a difference. It was a high of zero today so we'll see what warmer weather brings
