If it's warranty don't quit....I had Yamaha canada give me warranty 2 years after mine ran out because of ongoing issues with their smart carbs.if it was warranty be sure it is on an invoice and you have a copy because it had to be addressed no matter how long it takes ...

Yes copy of all bills and the case number the dealer should have got if he did in fact file a claim.
