Good to hear. I had to roll vacation days over due to not being able to go up to the U.P. between Christmas and New Years, so after this weekend, am looking to burn those days and get up there. Just hope Ms. La Niña doesn't pack up her bag and decide to hit the road before then.

Marquette has no snow.
Munising/Grand Maria's and over to Pine Stump (Deer Park) area has plenty to ride on. Trails are groomed up good.
Did not go into Seney or Newberry.
Stayed north.

As soon as I dropped (2pm) in wetmore the skies opened up to spitting rain.
Next morning, same thing until 3pm.
Managed 180 miles.
If you stayed on or near trail 8 the trails were about an 8. Things got thin as you headed south. As one would expect.
Supposedly the Ski-Doo was owned by Blair Morgan after his accident.
Tim (N1C2000) & I couldn't manage a ride, as my phone service was spotty at best. All in all, wasn't a bad ride. Clutches were a little warmer than I'd like and I lost a few bolts along the way. Lol.

Still no sign of snow in southern MN, nothing in the forecast for that matter either.
La Niña was supposed to bring colder temps and more precipitation this winter. This is getting downright depressing especially after last seasons complete winter shutout. According to the news last night, we're over 13 inches below average for precipitation, and the 6" of snow we had on the ground was ruined by rain earlier.

Once again, every time there's a chance for us to get some, the storm track goes way south (Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, etc) leaving us dry!!!!!Still no sign of snow in southern MN, nothing in the forecast for that matter either.

good to hear we are headed to Newberry on FridayMichigan upper before last Sunday was rideable but nothing great, ice and snow packed trails.. Sunday night they got new snow in many area’s and trails improved. The Soo, Brimley, Newberry should be pretty good now.. This snow was lake effect and it was needed like many other area’s
