Might be the last hoorah for the winter...500' of ice with win lights in each lane...come on down and have some fun..

Dan...It's just outside Dorset....towards Baysville by highway..good ditch trail from Dorset to Paint Lake Rd..come in about 4 km on P'L Rd and watch for track as you start to see the lake...can't miss it..or ask a local in Dorset ( ask at the garage)

Good to hear Dan...try to get Byron and Tom out too..weather looks good now..they've called off the rain with about +2 ...should be a great day on the ice..you might get a kick out of the shop too..it's just across the road

Didn't hold the event 'til Sunday so the track could freeze up Sat night....it was a beautiful stretch of ice that stayed good 'til about 3:30...had a great day in the sun...

the track was in decent shape all things considered. I got there around 2:30 sunday afternoon and watched some of the festivities.

Eventually lined my sled up against what looked like a stock RX1, it gave me everything I could handle as I was spinning the entire way down the track. There seemed to be about an inch or two of slush then bare ice underneath so studs were still definitley helping.

I later lined up with Wolf knowing full well I was in for a spanking but its all in good fun. Sure enough, he hooked hard off the line and I shot my HP out the back fishtailing my way down to the finish line and nearly taking out the center pylons hahah I brought a knife to a gunfight and ended up with multiple gunshot wounds

great day, great weather and great people.

I didnt care, its all in good fun anyways! There was just enough soft stuff to make it safe enough for me to be able to go down the track without killing myself but it was a wild ride I'll tell ya. Lined up against Jays 800REV and I just snuck by him at the finish line.

I wasn't the fastest but I think I won the prize for most impressive roost coming off the starting blocks!! I think I soaked a few people!
