Probably a basic question but can someone share with me the easiest place to look up part numbers for the 2007 Venture MP?

you can also go to yamaha_motor.ca and click on the parts tab. i tend to use yamaha_motor.com as it has an option to e-mail your parts list to some one or your dealer. have used this option a few times.

X2 on the yamaha-motor.ca. Maim, you have some really cool equipment there in your list, not many XT 350 guys out there (I have a stock 2001), don't mean to reroute the discussion (hijack).

Only thing is that the US site won't have the MP specifically since they didn't get that model until 2012. Even Yamaha Genuine Parts doesn't list it. Just use the Venture Lite for the majority of the parts are the same. Yamaha-Motor.ca will have it.
Thank you all. Helpful as always.

I use www.partspitstop.com they have the MP specific parts under VL.
As fear they don't have the parts in stock so I'll be sidelined for a couple more weeks.

You could use a generic bolt of the same thread and size. It just has to be hardened.
They had the bolt actually, just the washer and oil seal they didn't have. Really just the oil seal holding me back.

That wouldn't stop me. I'd use the original washer and just keep an eye on the oil and fix it properly during the summer

Np. Pm me if you want tips on what spiced up my xt. Still a bit of a work in progress but almost have the motor mods dialled in. Just need to figure out how to set it so it quits running too cold.
Too bad about the parts being on back order Yukon wolf. Moose man has the right idea. I would recommend 220 weight oil or really thick gear lube and pack the seal with grease.
