Phazer belly pan protector?

Does anyone know if there is much difference between the "float plate" sold by sled solutions and yamaha's "skid plate". Does one cover more of the belly than the other? Does the skins plate come up further in the front? Is one just plain better than the other?

The price for either is about the same and I need to order one while I'm getting the sled all ready for the season.

Had a chance to see a yamaha's phazer skid plate installed today... and what exactly is that little piece of nothing going to protect.? I am pretty sure I will be going with the skins "float plate". But has anyone gotten one yet? when will they be shipping?

The Skinz plate is much better. Haven't seen it in person, though.
