When I first bought my 07 phazer in oct. 2011 I had the dealer change the oil pulled it out of shop and went to load it and noticed oil dripping out bottom of sled. I told them so they tore it apart in parking lot and found the double gasket problem. Thankfully it started leaking right away

when i did my oil change i thought that gasket was supossed to be on the block... then i looked at the old filter and seen it was missing.

Sorry man, there is not much of a warning at all when the engine is going 11,400RPM.
One time I did an oil change and then threw out my old filter. A few days later I thought I forgot to make sure the gasket came off. Me being worried tore my phazer apart again and found out the gasket had come off with the old filter.
