By the way...forgot to mention, EzRyde skid all in weighed 41.5/42lbs. dry/stand alone on the shipping scale. I also went with the Fox Zero Shocks with remote reservoirs.
Any way you could take a pic from the back? My only concern is it looks like it decreases the track clearance from the top of the tunnel.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I want to do this with a 136 skid. Would that skid mount in the same location as your 144? What track are you using? I ask because it doesn't appear to be cut down (at least I cannot see any signs of cutting). Looking good 550ss!

Lowedog, will take a pic for you tonight...I thought I had one on my computer, but didnt. But, I can assure you that this does not decrease the track clearance from the top of the tunnel. Good notice, but EZ Ryde's secondary shock mount utilizes a little smaller idler wheel than stock helping to remain more than enough clearance for a 2" track that Im running. I am fully confident that a larger lug will fit without worries back there. I think the main problem with large lug tracks on a phazer is more with the heat exhanger area IMO up front. With MTX drivers, you're good, but anything over 2.25/2.5" is tight for sure!
OVR4D, running the stock Camo MTX Track. I was able to get this track dirt cheap and paid next to nothing for it...Just right place at right time. That being said, I know there are inherent limitations to this track, but for the money I paid, itll work out fine for a couple seasons before taking the plunge to cut one down!
Thanks for the feedback guys...More pics to follow!

Hey all,
Back in action...That being said, I have a question regarding exhaust heat and spare gas cans...I currently have the SKINZ rear slipon installed and was curious about rear mounted tunnel gas cans...I know there is a slight turnout on the echaust that will help with direct heat, but does anybody have any trouble or issues with rear mounted bags or gas cans getting too hot from the exhaust?
Let me know your thoughts!

I have an RTX ... no way I'm gettin' a gas can on the back. I carry a super siphon as insurance.
The only time I have ever had to use it was to transfer fuel from my sled to another sled. The Phazer does get pretty good milage.

Hi all,
Well with work and the holidays, I havent been able to post pictures of the progress... but I wanted to at least post a pic of the sled 90% completed (before New Years) to get the topic flowing again. Waiting and praying for snow here in Ohio to test/tune the clutching, but I am confident in Chris at Schmidt Bros. for setting me up right on the Stage 2 kit. All in all, everything was a breeze and a lot of fun! After much back and forth on the gas can setup, I decided on the Rotopax setup.
Will post more pics of fit and finish this week, but just wanted to get the discussion started.

Hey TSU...our group primarily rides in Allegheny National Forest/NY Border or last couple years they've gone to U.P. Looking to get some miles on this year. Going to Quebec/Mont Valin area in early March and cant wait! Serious snow being dropped up there.
