I'm havin a really hard time getting my FX to transfer...i don't need it to stand up on the bumper...it'd be nice but that's not what i'm after...i need it to be able to get the skis up higher then 3 inches...it just plows in the fluff

any suggestions?

Thank you!

I bought the wider mountain skis to get better "float" in deep snow. Helps a bit. The belly of this sled isnt exactly designed for "floating" so when the stock skis went under so did the rest of the sled...

If you can't get transfer with what you did, you definately need the track. It does wonders. The best thing about the track change is that it is relatively easy, it only takes about 90 minutes. When you gonna come west for a ride Pat? ;)

i'm gonna have to soon..we have no snow...only prob is that to get to you its a 17hour trip :s

there has to be a way to get this thing to transfer tho..poo's suspension is basically same setup, and they transfer pretty decent

Other than settign the rear spring on the softest. I didn't make any changes and I can pop the skis off the ground no problem. I only weight 125 not dressed.

Have heard this from other guys with the gt's. Can the reason be because of softer rear shocks/springs?

I think a 1.5 track would help alot. I am 190 once the track stops spining it pulls the front end off the ground. Going through the whoops a stab of the throttle and pull back gets the skis off most of the time too. I,m on the FX.

thing is tho, on medium, i bottom out...so i have it set to hard...i do a bit of hard riding..and hard setting feels the best to me...off a bump, yeah it'll come up, but it just can't carry itself at all...it just plunges back to the ground in no time
