The other day I was chanding my track and just checking things over and this is what I found:

Front left a-arm bushings warn
Front left axle bushing warn out in suspension
Front left bearings on my drive shaft dried out (just regreased them)
All idler wheels warn (maybe)

I was just wondering what shaft is the one that can get a slight bend and make your suspension sag a bit. Also, I was wondering if my idler wheels are a little wobbly does that mean they are warn and if so do i need to buy new ones?

i think it was the rear linkage shaft? the front one that goes through the torsion springs? i'm not sure but what i am sure anout is that this was an issue on certain models only....GT never had this bulletin, i know a couple guys with FX that had this problem, and i think ther was a few posters on here that had this problem on the base model.

shouldn't really call it a shaft, its more of a piece of pipe isn't it? if yami made these rear links from chrom-olly we wouldn't be having this problem.

No its a shaft.Pipe pivots on the shaft with bushings.I have been meaning to get Ulmer the sizes of the bushings since his bushings could help prevent bending I believe.I made some of my own which extend entire length of tube in effort to give some support to the shaft. But not very good fit.Anyway here is pic of culprit.I also bent the new one.Bushings are last try.Otherwise Hygear setup goes on.
