I installed an MCX phazer turbo a couple of years ago. Since the installation of the kit, the idle is really low. I cranked in the idle adjuster as far as I can and it settles out at only about 1600-1700 rpm once hot. The sled also has some issues starting in the cold as well when it is really cold and the sled has sat all night outside. Inside my heated shop it fires as fast as it ever did stock.
To add to the information, I am running the headshim and always on 91 octane premium pump gas.
Anyone have any experience or suggestions on why I have no idle adjustment left and if there is anything I can do about it?
Thanks,

the sleds recommended in the manual idle is only 1800 Plus or minus 100 rpms so if its constant at 17 thats where mine runs stock...

Mine idles low to, but have not tried to adjust it.
Guess you have an 07 without the cold-start-kit?
Had the cold start kit on mine, and suddenly it started fast, thoug it doesnt seem to be where the real problem is.
After the cold-start kit, it started to run poor, and after a while we located a faulty gass pressure regulator.
So my tip to you:
Test youre regulator first, is supposed to be at 3-3,2 Bar.
If correct, then get the cold start kit and it will start easyer.
If you have a good regulator and the cold start kit, then wait for someone that has a clue to reply to you
I have only had a phazer for a short while, and it has newer worked like it supposed to, and it all seem to be because of that regulator.
Really looking forward to have it working, and i guess i'm good to run in a week, then i will adjust the idle and let you know if i can get 1800 ok.

Mine runs really strong. Pulls away from 600 etecs easily. Just hates starting when its cold out. Don't think it ever had the cold start update done. It had all of the others done though.

Is yours the one up on Kijiji? I bought my sled just a bit too early it looks like, there are a couple of boosted phazers in the 6-8k range that I would have bought!

Yeah. That's mine on there. I have been waffling on whether I really want to sell it or not. Figured I would post it and if someone really wanted it I would part with it. It is so much fun and it runs really good. It can be a little cold blooded but I think my starter was starting to slip and it wasnt really cranking fast enough for the cold weather.
