i think im gonna trade my vectormtn-07 to a phazer mtnlite -08.I want a lighter sled and realy start to like the phazer look.the first question is ,will i be dissapointed with the power?im no highspeed demon.second, what about the suspension vs the vector mtn. Thanks

I am no high speed demon. I suppose it is more of what you wan't to do with the sled. I came off of a 03 RX1 and that was 145 hp. Now I ride a 07 Mtn Lite with 80 hp and am happier than before mainly because I am out in the woods and off the trail. I don't like trail riding anymore so the light nimble and yet powerful mtn lite is a great choise. If you are out west alot climbing tall than maybe the lite will be lacking the ponies. Not sure just mu opinion. I like being out in the wilderness where I can go anywhere without to much concern about getting stuck and the lite does it for me. I mainly am a low speed adventurer kinda rider. I often say when riding, "lets go check that out" and off we go.

I ride a vector mtn and have ridden a phazer a few times. I think after a few rides the lack of power in the phazer will be start to get to you.

There are a lot of mods you can do on a vector to help with weight and handling. I lost over 45 lbs on mine and there is a very NOTICEABLE difference over stock (I ride with a stock vector mtn all the time)

A Hartman tunnel extension will help alot in the deeper powder.

Rider forward will improve handling A LOT

Custom Exhaust will help with weight loss and it sounds sweet.

I own both sleds. I really enjoy the Phazer to play in powder fields but anything else I prefer my Vector. I am totally happy that it is the wifes sled and that I didn't buy one for myself. Fun sled but I am not impressed.
