I posted this in the mountain forum as well thought i would ask the flatland phazer guys as well.

Hello everyone,

Im looking for any options for a phazer mtx track it has to be a 14X144X1.25 or 1 inch lug. We traded a phazer mtx in at our dealership in wisconsin and everyone is skeptic about the tall lug in the snow we get in southern wisconsin. So what i was wondering if anyone has swapped tracks to get the 2 in. paddle down to 1 in. or even 1.5 in.

Thanks for the replys.

Yep, Maverick cut to 1.5" works quite a bit better on the trails though its still not THAT great. I swapped mine to a 144" Freeride and that track is AWESOME, but alas, its not made any more so its hard to find one but they are still out there. Other option is to find a 144x15 track and cut 1/2 off each side with a table saw.

If I was buying a used sled, no way would I buy one from a dealer that had the lugs cut down. If the dealer can't take the time to put the correct size track without having to hack it up, then i'm not buying it. I know there aren't very many options for Phazers, but Yamaha offered the 1.5x144 for the MTX and I think that is the way to go.

That's a good point Jeffz.

If this is for resale why wouldn't they just leave it alone and let the customer decided?
