Was about to Hijack a thread so heres my questions

Any tips with stock suspension on the 07FX to reduce kickback? Spring settings? rear shock compression damping position? Does limiter strap position make a difference?

Any help would be great

Shock revalve... its about the only cure i have found with yamaha shocks... i iknow its not what you wanted to here. did you try adjustting your rebound settings?? if you tried and no change... time for a rebuild

X2! If you want to save $ just spend it on a really good rear shock.Best mod I have done to my Phazer. Not sure I can recommend Axis anymore though since they changed ownership.Think now I would buy a Exit rear and revalve the rest.

Ya I was afraid you were all going to say that

Guess I'll have to wait til next season when we have snow.

What is totally ridiculous is the front end on this thing rides better than any other sled I have owned. (I didn't say steer better) Just soaks up anything IMO

but wait..

if you soften the skid..it will help..get it to bottom..then bring it up one.

Rear spring set full soft. Compression damping put it full soft too you mean?

Hey cannondale, I was thinking of buying some axis shocks this season. Any reason that you thinking they won't be as good under new ownership?

There should be a thread I posted about setting up your suspension

I did a search and couldnt find anything. I found a thread with some hints on how to beef up the suspension but didnt find one with adjustment tips.

Thanks though, Im sure its out there somewhere

Because when I got mine it was directly through Custom Axis and person I got them from actually rode/raced a Phazer and I met him in person. From what I understand most of the original employees from Axis now are employed and own Exit shock company. Its not that I think Hygear which distributes Axis wont do a good job its just I dont know if they have the specs to make it perfect first time like mine was.I dont recommend something I dont have and I do not have Hygear Custom Axis shocks.Mine were built when Penske owned Axis.I have seen good shocks go real bad in ownership changes.TCS and Racetech merger comes to mind.I just dont want to say something I dont personally know for fact.
