TY 4 Stroke Junkie
Last year, Yel low burned his MCX Phazer down due to the MCX exhaust flex fittings. MCX and the dealer in USA both claim it was bad welds that caused the fire.
What do you guys think?

Ive talked to several dealers prince george yamaha, only installed mcx flex pipes on one phazer and randy swenson replaced them on his phaser with some odd brand but never burnt down. When I talked to mark a lepinheimer he said he never had any problems with the stock ones, I remember yellows post and I was thinking maybe he just had bad welds. Maybe the fire started from something else?
Also I just read the vent line can leak gas on the header and cause a fire if it sits upside down for to long Maybe this possibly happend?
If the stockers hold up why replace, you can buy the donuts cheap and maybe just replace them once a year.

You sure the vent lines are routed right.I have rolled mine and no gas came out except when I rolled it back the little in the lines came out but just goes to the sides and then ground.
