Look @ the specifications. All of them are very close infact the phazer is actually longer than the Apex. Ergo's on these 2 machines are very close. Take the 2 side view studio shots of these sleds and overlap them and you will see. With no nose cone and shrunkin side skirting and less weight I'm sure has a huge effect on feel and perception. But from ski spindle to rear axle these sleds are the same dimension from what I can see.
I am not bashing the phazer infact I am leaning toward a FZ. I was just comparing for my own reference. The fact that the phazer is an advertised 108lbs lighter than my attak is a big part of why I might want one. I was just trying to see if the cockpit was shorter and runningboard and handlebar heights were different. And alot of what I was checking appear to be close or exactly the same. For me this is actually good news because I don't think I would like a smaller operator area. The handlebars are quite a bit forward over the apex though.

I like the idea of handlebars being forward, I'm used to the Rev X Packages, and hoping the Mountain Lite will be close with seating.

You will not believe the seating and overall 'sport quad' feel of the Phazer. I was blown away when I first rode it. Could stand all day if I had to and didn't have to worry about slaming my knees when I was sitting. Narrow seat+narrow tunnel=WOW.

it is a great feeling.... if you are into standing, definately more comfortable than the rev.... it is an amazing feeling sled..... it almosts makes u look for the bumps, and at the demos, you didnt have to look far..... it takes bumps like nothing i have ever ridden before.... give it a couple years, add a little hp and my new attak will be replaced.

The feel of this sled is unlike any other i have ever ridden. Yes i have had a IQ race mod, rode the rev's and even the apex, thats why i am buying this sled in the first place. The feel and ergonomics of it are perfect in my opinion and i am 6'7" 220lbs. I got to put on about 20 miles on this sled at a demo and i didnt want to get off. My IQ mod had twice the power and was a blast to ride but i couldnt wait until i had the chance to ride the phazer again. The phazer even rode like it was lighter than my IQ even though it wasnt, thats what got me interested. Just my opinions guys, Have fun and let it snow.
I finally got a chance to view and sit on a Phazer in person earlier this week. I looked at a Phazer FX and really liked it. I was a bit disappointed to see that it didn't have a pivoting riser block. In just standing on it, I wanted the bars slightly forward but could probably live with where they are.
It is a nice sled. Feels thin like a dirt bike and your knees had more room than a REV. If it came with the 120 motor... well... I'd find some way to buy one.

You just have to take the stock riser off and put on a fly pivoting adapter if you want the bars further forward. Its quite easy to change the stock bar setup, i plan to right off the bat before i ever ride it.
