Dude! that is an excellent idea! My tunnel is polished but....I think I'm gonna get some clear tape to go over tunnel where i ahve alot of rub and that way I wont have a big ugly spot to buff out again next year. Thanks!

Have 1800 miles on my painted tunnel. Get spots that need to be touched but overall really happy.

im back and forth on painting or doing vinyl on the tunnel. painted looks really nice!!!
Vinyl would be a bit*h with all 400 rivets though.

Im goin to paint mine black but im removing the outer edge on the tunnel and the tunnel brace and leaving them the alum color then putting some clear 3M on to cover the wear spots.. Should look pretty good. I will post pics when im all finished.
