looking good guys. I brought my Apex back to stock so that I could trade it in and finally decided I'll wait for an 09 instead. I'm now installing my 136 ZX-2. Looking at the pics above, I noticed the front idler wheels look bigger then the rear. My front outer wheels do not fit as per existing mountings. Am I missing something? I also had a hard time setting up the tension assembly into the 136 extension kit. Stupid plate was chewing up the plastic. ARRR. Pics added..
Hope to have this done by the end of today.

I had the same problems with the bearing id also. In my pictures i am missing the front idlers. They shipped me the wrong ones. They very good about it and couried me the correct ones right away. Just call them they called me back quickly. They also said the if you have good snow you can run without them while you wait.
RE: the 16" wide track. yes it will fit. tunnel protectors must be removed and the front heat exchanger protecter must be removed also. There is one but and bolt extending into the tunnel from the gear box. I would put spacers to keep the end of the bolt protruding into the track. and grind down the nut at least an 1/8 of an inch. see photo. I didn't grind mine down because i didn't see the clearance until after i had it all put back together.
It is really close with the 16" wide. i also have a rivit end some where rubbing on the left side of the track hitting a lug 1/2 inch from the tip. I have to find it and remove it or let it wear in.
With the 2" track i find it very close to the mufler clamps in the tunnel i have to rotate them so the bolt end is not pointing down. I will take photos when i get a chance
re: the plates ya they didn't seat all the way for me as well i left them took it for a spin and readjusted the track. Everything ok.

Found out what was rubbingas. There are two bolts from the chaincase that need to be adjusted out if you want to runa 16" wide 2" track. The second bolt is up and to trh front from the bolt shown in the above picture.
