Here is an old windshield laying on top of my windshield off of my 11' xtx.
I like the graphics on my old style windshield so I am going to use that for now.

The headlight shape looks pretty similar between the two. I've been wondering if it would be possible to trim the bottom off an old apex windshield and redrill to fit the 11-12's.

Since you have both right there, does it look feasible?

i heard just change the plastics around the headlight and u can bolt an old on right up.

Ya I've seen that, just can't justify spending a $140 on plastic stuff when there should be aftermarket windshields out for these things before long.

Thought cutting down an old one might be a cheap, temporary alternative.
