I just put in some #50 pilot jets. The stock ones were #45's. That throttle hesitation I have been dealing with has gone bye bye. It must have been a lean bog. I cleaned the old ones many many times, but the bog was still there. I thought I would post this, because I have not seen much on this subject.

My 07 Vector GT has a slight hesitation too. It's almost goes away completely when it's really warmed up, I mean like after it's been running for 10 minutes or so. You buy those jets at a dealer?

Yeah, they had to order them. My sled would get better as it warmed up too, but I still would be feathering the throttle all day long. It is instant response now. Once it is warmed up completely of course.

I wonder if that is the main reason the carbed vectors have a pronounced lag when the throttle is quickly opened. I think I will also try the 50's. I never thought of it as a lean bog.

I installed Flo-Commanders from new and never had a lag to speak of! I like the adjustability since I'm stuck with a carb veresion. So easy to tune the pilot jets for temp changes it's great.

I sent my carb rack and airbox down to Steve at Performance Design and he designed a kit for it based on his flow meter. He actually did the installation on mine as sent the airbox and carb rack back ready to install. Installation instructions are on his site and they are pretty easy to follow! here's his website: http://www.flo-commander.com/
