Just ride the sled in snow.....Problem fixed. 
I added 6 extra small wheels with the graphite sliders(Yamaha one's) and I ride some pretty crappy trails and have had no problems. 1 have gone through 1 set per year and there is usually some slider left on them but I change them anyway when I go throught the skid each year.
