Motorhead said:Hey smoothride, wondering if you would do me a favor and take a pic of your mounting location for the front suspension shaft. Is it mounted near my pictured front suspension location which is in a stock hole in the footwell, in the groove made for a socket extension. In my pic you will see the hole in front of the allen head bolt. I had to move mine back .95" for extrovert conversion but the hole in front of it was the original. Is that how your 07 Attak front suspension shaft is mounted with the M20 air. Thanks !!
Yes but you have to move the arm on the bottom back one inch also. At the bottom you have to take the rivet out and use that hole.
Look at all the sag in the track in northern slender.jk picture that is the way it is suppose to look when you pickup rear of the sled.northernsledder.jk said:Here's some pics of ski mounted ice scratchers. I welded a small tab to each scratcher and used a second bolt that eliminates the possibility of them ever rotating or coming loose. Also pictured is the extra wheel kit on my M20.

Yes thanks smoothride, I moved all 3 points .95". The top and bottom shaft and also shock bottom shaft with the use of Rail Repair Kit from Fast.
Hope it works well now! Let's us no how it is working because I don't have hyfax wear like that at all.

Glad to report that the problem is solved ! Once I moved the front suspension shaft to it's correct location, an also added the extra pair of wheels, my hyfax wear was minimal after today's ride! First time ever since owning this sled.
Sweet Huh? Thanks Again TY guys, and Brian from Team Fast... Great job by all.

Hey guys I have read your post. I have a 99 700 Yamaha srx with the m-20 suspension, I am running into the same problem with slide wear. What finally fixed your problem? my wear is right behind the front wheels. I was thinking of adding a wheel kit in that spot. Thought would be greatly appreciated.
I only change my hyfax once a year with thousands of miles on them. I don't have a any extra wheels in the front. I have 4 wheels in the rear. I get some wear in the front but it stops about half way.

Mine is horrible. Beginning to think whom ever installed it didn't put it in the right position. I was just wondering if I installed the extra set of wheels would it take care of it? I am thinking I need to check if it is mounted correctly? From reading above 1" could mean everything?
And the front arm gets moved back 1 inch. Yes you should check to see if it is mounted correctly. Give Brian a call at teamfast he will help.

Hey Brian, you can now purchase Polaris style DuPont slides for the M20 suspension! They must be purchased through a Yamaha dealer! About $8 more per slide when compared to the Yamaha DuPont! Think I paid around $68 per slide! You will have to drill your own hole for set screw whereas the M20 is at 5 1/8" and the DuPont is much less though!! They now also make a set for Doo slides!! These do not show any wear yet. Time will tell...
