I have spent the last 2 sat. nights watching sled porn. going to Hay Days in 2 weeks. garage is cleaned up and ready sleds are staring at me every day, buddies at work are tired of me talking about winter...... at least we can all vent with fellow sledders here at TY!

Last week i was on a beach in South Carolina in almost 100* weather, planning what sled im going to run this year and corresponding build. Not to mention i was let down when all the local book stores had snowboarding and ski mags instock but no sled mags.

At least the weather is coming now here, going down to 4*C tonight thats damn near snow temps.....

Some call it a sickness others a passion of something they love. Either way im highly infected.

I received new sled magazines last week. Haven't started reading them as we are in the height of our rainbow fishing experience. Might take them with me this weekend to read after dark. And then there is the training of the 2 new labs I just got. I did start my old 2 stroke last week.

and I did ask the wife when I could weed her flower gardens and she accused me of rushing winter.

I guess I'm like Sobfrog, I cope with summer by working on my sleds everyday (I'm even down to looking for anything on them to tinker with/ work on/ buy parts for........ Hell, I just spent over $500 today on the phone with Tom Hartman and the snow is at least 3+ months out before it flies! Anyways, my fiance is going to absolutely kill me if/ when she finds out the literal thousands of $$ I've put into the sleds this summer..... I love it but it sure hurts the pocketbook! And the funny thing is, I bet I'm on the bottom half of all of us here on TY.... Come on, fess up! At least that is one of the ways I justify to my wallet.....

I'm not sure if it's a sickness or just a passion for such an extreme/ fun activity. I just love to sled -- alone or with friends. And I find myself continually wishing for freezing weather and snow. I can't talk about this stuff with most of my friends/ co workers because they all hate the snow and would think I'm crazy.

Got my new xtx home 2 weeks ago. stripped it all down and installed blockoff plate and a cooling fan and ductwork, new idler wheels, locktighted front a-arm bolts, etc, life was good, until I found out im losing my job in 2 weeks, hopefully my unemployment check will cover my snowmobile loan payments who needs antidepressants when when owning a yamaha ,thats a high in itself.
