I'm a semi-pro cross-country racer in Alaska and with all the recent posts about tweaked a-arms and front clips, I want to try and seperate out the impact related failures from those that are caused from hard riding.
If you noticed that your front end is tweaked, it would be helpful if you could give a description of how hard you were riding and what the conditions were like.
So far, I haven't noticed anything being bent or tweaked on mine. I've been riding my sled very hard and working on setting up my suspension. That said, I'm also very conscious of beating on a sled too hard since you can break anything if you try hard enough.
Aside from the usual loose a-arm bushings and the apparently common loose ball joints, my sled has been holding up fine.
Let's be truthful and hopefully can establish some trends that may result in determining if the Nytro has a "glass jaw".

You need a third option, in my humble opinion.
Yes mine is tweaked and I DID hit something.

I just bought my fx nytro and only have 70 miles on it. No hard miles but have clipped a couple rocks in low snow conditions, not hard though. Reading all these posts has made me some what paranoid. One thing I noticed about mine was that in the garage on dolly's it looked like my skis were out by a 1/2", but put the skis on the level floor and measure the skis tips to spindle/A-arms it measured okay.

Mine is still good. If I hit something I can live with the outcome. My dealer has had 2 Nytro's in with bent A-arms but both owners admitted to hitting something. I don't know if I'm running mine as hard as others. I'm certainly not afraid of holding Mine WFO through crappy sections of trail but I don't ride like that all the time. I hope their isn't a issue because I absolutely love My RTX More everytime I ride it.

Guys need to go check them and measure them. You can't tell by riding them they are tweaked.

Jumped one,two and three feet and everything looks great. hit a 6 inch rock at 10-15 mph and everything looks great!

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder how many have actually looked close and used any kind of measuring device. Mine is very suttle especially to a novice eyeTurboJamie said:Guys need to go check them and measure them. You can't tell by riding them they are tweaked.

Everyone reporting issues MUST log it with a dealer or its just hear say to yamaha. Overwhelming hear say to my thinking, but dealer reports are how they are gonig to track "confirmed" cases.

I reported mine this morning.
I think alot of guys don't even realize theirs are bent thats the problem. First thing that made me look was when on my sled lift my one ski was pointed out alot when the bars we straight and also the tip of the ski was like 4" lower then the other when in the air. Then I started to measure and poof there it was.
After reading and seeing the other posts I didn't really give it much thought on mine I thought well I have never hit anything and only trail ridden. Then I looked at it and wow its bent.

Agreed Jamie. I have a thought, but I'm going to start a new thread with it.
