I want to port my track for added hi-fax cooling etc. and live in Alaska where we do A LOT of water crossings and skipping to get where we want to go, some times for a 1/4 to 1/2 mile distance. I'm wondering if I port the track with two 1-1/4" holes down the center will it affect my ability to skip places that are several hundred yards long ? Any help on this would be HUGE!

ported track

I heard they slow down big time in water with ported tracks the track holes hit the water and it relly lods the track. There was soome people on other sites that wish they wouldn't have ported thier track because tof this they found out the hard way.

what a shame!

You know when I was thinking about doing the porting , it seemed like I had read some where in the past about it being a problem but couldn't remember when or why......been a while. So I figured I better verify before doing it, THX much appreciated!
