I always thought if I ever got another track it would be the ice ripper. They look like they work good and there's a lot less weight than studs plus there isn't the risk of puncturing a heat exchanger. Since my Warrior cam with a practically new track I wont be taking it off anytime soon.
Had an ice ripper on my RX-1. If I had to replace my track it would be with an ice ripper. I will never run studs again for fear of throwing one thru the heat exchanger.
Love my Ice-Ripper XT . Also heard the Ice -Attack is good too.I chose the ice-ripper because of the 1.25 lug and dirt bike/quad tire like knobby track vs the ice-attack 1.22 lug straighter wavey (My best example). No issues at all with track and all the studs are still sharp and intact! I will buy another for sure.Hope they will make a 1.375in ice-ripper one day .
