kviper you are absolutely right. DuPont slides do cause a sticking (or drag problem) after a hard run, stop at a road or on the trail. Lots of snow, warm day or cold.They can stick to the point that if you do a hard hard run, come to a dead stop, sit for a while then roll away it can even squeal the belt. I tried this several times same day, same place, then pulled sled in shop and took off sticky ponts, Put on used slides off my 2011 se. Went back out same place, did same hard runs, sticking problem gone. No belt burn when pulling away. Also felt track clips immediately after stopping. Dupont slides do make clips hotter. 2015 se, 2800 miles, track adjusted correctly good belt. Back to good old hyfax. Just wondering what damage it is doing to our track clips with the additional heat?
