I'm going to be studding the '09 Nytro SE (144 down the middle), but do not know if I should go for the powdercoated aluminum backers for looks or keep it simple and stick with the all aluminum standard backers.
Has anyone installed Woody's powdercoated aluminum backers where one can comment on the durability and how they look after a year or two of riding. I just do not want to be disappointed after installing them and notice after a year of use they are all scratched up or simply do not look good anymore.
Any suggestions are welcomed.

I'll keep this simple. This is based off my two buddies that had powdercoated backers. They look like hell after a year or two - get plain aluminum backers!!

I have to disagree as I have the blue Woodys backers on my sled and they are holding up fine after over 1,000 miles of hard riding. You can see the backers in my video that I added tonight on You Tube. Here is the direct link.

The lighting was poor (bright sun and dark) so this makes the video image poor.

I had a notion that they were for show purposes only. Thanks!
