just pulled skid out of my 2014 and stripped it all down to get the rails powdercoated, getting them done in Yamaha blue to match the spindles I had done last summer. Sled has just shy of 5000 miles and I'm on all the original wheels/bearings and original trihub which feels as tight as a new one and spins very smoothly still. Bought the cheap bolt on outside wheels from cat as soon as I got the sled so they've been on since new. Man I can remember the apex and the rx1 how it almost seemed to be a weekly thing to have to fix/replace boggie wheels. My apex had 5200 miles when I sold it and I know I replaced every wheel on that skid atleast twice. Granted I don't ride as hard as some but some of the conditions we've ridden in the past few years just to get miles on..it'd be questionable on a wheeler let alone a sled. 5th winter with the viper is approaching fast, hoping for another 5 winters after that! By far the cheapest maintenance sled I've owned and a big majority of that credit goes to the procross chassis.

I 100% agree. Bearing and bushing wise ProCross has been best I ever had.

Oh and the blue rails will look awesome! Sweet pic. One question. Don't you freeze your nads off with those tiny windshields? I heard medium is faster!

Small windshield goes on during the summer so it looks cool while I look at it all summer long, once snow flies the medium on goes on lol cuz yes I do freeze with that little windshield on!
