check valve should cure your problem and you won't need 37 feet of line either!

You might want to be carefull about running the vent line out where it will be exposed to snow it may freeze over and cause a vacuum in your tank.

ski-doo has been running a check valve and dumps out down
above the left ski shock and it works good other than the tank pressures up so every time you stop you have to crack the cap. small price to pay to save expensive race fuel.
