I have a totally stock motor and run around 100 octane w/10 psi. I have raced other TRX's w/10:1 LCP's w/92 octane and they can take me off the line then it is dead even. I think I would try to save my fried some trouble and $ and have him do some research on this forum. 12psi w/regular gas on a stock motor is asking for trouble.
