Does it come with an adapter piece. You will need a half round section at the top for the handle bars. I ran into the same problem with my Powermadd setup. So I swithced to a Rox 4" riser.

Just curious to how high you can go without effecting my cables?? I'm leaning towards a 6" riser, anyone running that height on their Nytro???

You can always check out our risers on Muffin Works. They come polished or powder coated and are very trick. You can order just the risers or the riser along with the base adaptor which fit all Yamaha's We offer 4" 6" and 8" risers.

Thanks,

WOW thats allot of riser, I'm 6'6 and I put a 2in block and a pivot adapter, those two together total 3.5 inches above stock, the one thing I had to change was going to the MTX e-brake cable, the stock one was very tight and when you turned it left it poped out of the ebrake on the handlebar. I would say that being 6'6 that combo is PERFECT for me, the last thing you want is to feel like your riding a harley with ape hangers when your bangin trails.IMO

This riser comes with nothing extra, it is idenical to the factory part, just 1 3/8" taller, same width. Just what I was looking for, only comes in black, worked out perfect.

I did the 6 inch and although it does feel on the high side when sitting down I don't intend to ride it that way much. I like the dirt bike feeling and I got to tell you standing on this thing now and looking down makes me feel like Im on the track already. Im 5'10. If you do ride sit down lots you may want to go lower.

I had a 8inch riser on my Firecat and it still wasn't enough, since it was so uncomfortable to stand I ended up sitting more, so with this Nytro I went light on the riser, since I havent rode it yet maybe I will be going bigger, who knows............WE NEED SNOW

I'm just looking to gain 2-3" of height on my bars. Do I just add a 2" riser to my stock bars or go with a whole new riser set up??

I made a couple of risers and finally settled on a 4" for my sled too. 1 3/8" taller than stock.

I was only able to go 3" taller. Most guys say 2" more without cutting the cable ties. 3" is a custom size though, or an adjustable one.

Ask your dealer, or one of the suppliers here. There are not as many choice to choose from on the Nytro, because of the neck on the steering column. I went trough two that said they would work, and finally just bought the Rox. It is pricey but , awesome.

If you have a RTX then you allready have the pivot from the factory, you can add a block to that(remove the old one), I just mesured my buddie's 09 RTX in my shop and the factory riser is 2.5in so I guess 6 isn't that big, don't know about cable&wire length on a rtx but your ebrake will prob be snug.
