power madd hand guards

i put the powermadd handguards on my gt...they fit real tight to the brake lever and catch the windshield when i turn, i tried to adjust them up but i had to roll the throttle back because of the wires and dont like the trottle position then......
has anyone else experienced this and any solutions

Regarding the thumbwarmer wire on the throttle, you can pull up a bit of slack from the harness to get it around the bracket and still be able to clip the wire back into its proper slot on the throttle body.

As I recall I didn't have any problems with the brake side. I think there was a touch of interference but that was at a definate full turn to the right which I'll very seldom see. I'll check mine at lunch.

On my Attak they just barely make contact with the windshield at full turn.

Have you checked the other threads on the powermadd handguards? There are many ways you can install and many adjustments available. I mounted them on my GT with Mirrors and I don't seem to be bothered with it.
