Power Steering on older sleds...

I spent in total on parts $1978.00 all parts were used except the exup bypass control and the left coolant pipe in the cylinder head, I chose to swap the connectors on the 12 harness to the taillight harness, cooling fan, back up alarm on the 08, also had to acquire a knock sensor and drill and tap the factory boss on the block so that it works properly. 08 coil wire harness plus into 12 harness, 08 fuel injection harness is not used the 12 harness has the fuel injector harness hardwired into it. handle bar controls are the same so no changes there. used the 08 air box plugged the nipple in the box that the idle air control hose was hooked to and drilled a new hole where the 12 idle air control hose runs into the box between the throttle body boots, basically I have a 08 with 12 electronics on it I chose not to install the exup exhaust, first 96 mile ride ran flawless and pulled 14.3 mpg in 91 octane fuel, will be running 87 octane next to see if performance and mpg is any different now that there is a knock sensor in the system I feel better running lower octane fuel. here is a list of what parts you need to find,
p/s controller
p/s motor
upper fame hoop
12 main wire harness
12 headlight harness
11 and up instrument cluster
knock sensor
12 ecu
ecu mounting bracket
12 baro sensor
12 map sensor
12 throttle body assembly
fuel tank and fuel pump assembly
12 vector seat
exup bypass control
left coolant pipe in cylinder head

I sure could use some power steering. I now feel like i may brake something on my 03 RX1 or even loose control and hit a tree while hitting the bumpy corners. I put a pair of C&A XCS skis on my sled with Bergstrums 8" triple points and handing is near IMPOSSIBLE! I think i may be selling these and putting my stock skis back on with the dooleys. Unless there is an EPS kit or mod that can be done to my sled that someone knows about..?
Try pilot skis. I love mine. They're very light. Pilot 5.7s with 4 " carbide in the middle and 6" on the outside. My 06 handles really good.
