power steering swap??

I googled it with no luck. Im sure u guys discussed it once before but i can't find it. Can u install power steering in a older apex? I know u would need a new gas tank ad well but is the ecu integrated with eps

It must be..from what I've read the faster you go the less it works. Sounds like your going to get a newer one... lot's of clean 12's and up out there.

The EPS has its own ECU. It does need several inputs that the EFI ECU also receives… the major one being the speed sensor. I've been looking at adding power steering to the Nytro model…. there are some EPS parts from the Grizzly ATV that are shared with the APEX/VECTOR, and those parts that are not shared may be useable. They are plentiful on the used market. Perhaps another mounting location for the EPS motor could be found so the steering gate and tank won't be required? I'm game to help.

Contact machzrobbie, he is a member here who has already done this, and I think more than once. He was selling all the parts required off a part out sled at one point. Nice guy and nows what he's doing.
