Brother just picked up a 2015 stx dx. Less than 5 miles and he hears a clunking then sled stopped. He said it rev'ed up like the belt broke. Shut it down and belt was fine. Fired it back up and ride another 5 miles with no issues. Dealer said not to worry about it, but has this happened to anyone else by chance?

Was it trying to go into reverse?

Yes. In 9500+km, it happened to me twice. You have to shut down the engine and restart. Then the reverse actuator come back to the initial position and your good to go. Arctic Cat problem.

I opened the chain case after it did this for the first time. There was not even the shadow of a sign of the gears I herd grinding. So now I don't bother too much about that. Lol
