Is it safe to run 87 octane if premium is not available?

If you need to put 87 in as a last resort, or know you will need to fill up with low octane fuel....bring a can of octane boost with you. The sled should always be run with premium fuel. Turbo sleds especially....

Carry some octane booster just in case you're forced to use 87.
