prevent sled cover damage?

Just an idea I'll throw out there. Instead of using the hooks on the cover that I would always get tangled in everything when removing or putting on the cover I bought some of the 1 inch nylon strapping and cut two pieces long enough to go all the way under the sled. One piece to go between the two front buckles and one to go between the two rear buckles. This keeps the cover nice and tight over the boards as well as eliminates the head ache of hooking those d*** hooks on the running boards, bars, wires, hood, and everything else in between. Just my personal preference though however I don't use anymore as we moved to an enclosed trailer and solves the cover problem all together.
