My Apex mountain is at the dealer but the accessory catalog with reverse is not. Does anyone have a price for a reverse kit yet? When will they be available?

Might be different seeing as they moved the handle bars forward 6 inches and have a rad with fan there now.

Its the same frame and the same chaincase.

The frame is a Delta box II now correct me if I am wrong. Would be great if the same kit goes in both for all of us.

The FRAME is the same. DB1 and DB2 are the same. Just the steering post is mounted further forward.

Oh I thought the ergonomics in the front end were changed also this must of been done through the lenght of A arms and shock settings.

exactly right, you could even put the radiator and fan on an 05, looks like it will go right in. Strip down an 05 and 06 next to each other and it is an eye opener how sleds that are so much the same feel so much different
Should be around $599 I'd check with Port, they discount some things 10%

I thought they changed the frame much more than that. So making an apex out of an RX-1 is within reach if one wants too sell and buy a few things.

Biggest reason why an Apex feels different is riderforward . Movin that 200 (whatever) lbs 6-8 inches forward. So a Boss Flattop and higher bars (articulated forward would be even better) would give you much of that. A guy posted a couple of months ago, he redid his steering column and put it on the other side of the hoop. :shock:

I THINK THE BIGGEST CHANGE IS THE FRONT ARMS AND SPINDLES. THEY ARE EXACTLLY THE SAME AS A VECTOR, WHICH GIVES IT ABOUT A 1/2" WIDER STANCE AND ABOUT 1.2" LOWER THAN THE RX-1. TRUE YOU CAN CHANGE THE ARMS AND SPINDLES TO GET THE SAME HANDELLING BUT ONCE YOU PRICE OUT ALL THE PIECES :shock: YOU WOULD BE FURTHER AHEAD TO GO WITH AN AFTERMARKET WIDE FRONT END KIT, AND REDO YOUR SEAT IF YOU REALLY WANT THE FURTHER UP POSITION.

yes very true on the vector geometry, and the efi and other changes. Still the major change on the chassis is the rider

Just put new gears in my Attak. The reverse parts look the same as my 05 rage. Some of the linkage may be diffarant but the basic reverse set up is the same as the 05. I think you will be able to talk a dealer into selling you a kit for $500.00-$550.00. They are very easy to install.

The engine was also tilted for better center of mass.
