Thats one hell of a deal on the ThundercatWent out, and compared the Cat to the Yamaha. Found a dealer that would sell the Thundercat for $14,045 tax not included, 4 warranty included, Cat pride club membership, and a set of bibs with jacket from Cat. Also found Yamha RTX LE for about $14800 tax not included with 5 year warranty, No $600 extras

Road track, and trail for the cat. They nowtry to meet or beat the pricing from country cat. Which no one else is willing to try that... they hope like most dealers that you will use them for studds, accessories, gear etc to make up for the lose they are giving you on the sled. I'm going to call them later to get a price on the rr version, being it is comparable to the Yamaha le. The regular thundercat comes pretty well equipped. Just don't like the rear center shock for my ridingWhat dealer was this from???

Numbers are starting to come in. Best price so far on an LTX LE:
$17,510 + $600 freight/pdi = $18,110
Includes the jacket, +2yrs YPP, and $400 P&A credit.
I like the sled, don't know that I like it +$20k with taxes. Show is on the 26th - going to look at ALL the options for next year.

Best price I have found on a Sidewinder for a LTX LE is $14,800 from Richs Yamaha, with a five year warranty . So you get one year warranty, and a better clutch from Yamaha for the added $790 difference

Meaning the better clutch is on the Yamaha. I am not a fan of the Team secondary. Unlike the older Team clutch the spline teeth are machined directly into the aluminum sheave. There is not center steel hub pressed, and machined like on the older Doo's or the aftermarket Team clutches. So if you want to spend the extra dough on the Yamaha you get the better warranty, and better clutch. If you go Cat you get a lesser warranty, and a good clutch..... Not greatPlease exsplain which better clutch for that price, must be primary?

Cats have a 4 year warranty, so actually thats more then the Yamaha.. The Yamaha has a cheaper MSRP by far.. Clutching will be close between the two. But honestly Yamaha has a better reputation for clutching then CAT. Probably for a good reason.

The pricing I have been displaying is showing a 5 year full warranty for Yamaha. The Cat has a four year limited warranty from the prices I have been showing. As far as the clutch, I have a 2016 180hp ZR8000, and at about 350 miles my secondary ate the spline teeth out of the secondary, tore up the shaft, and still waiting to see if any other damage. There is also two more at the dealer the same. They think it was Goodwins clutching that did it, but either way it shouldn't of happenedCats have a 4 year warranty, so actually thats more then the Yamaha.. The Yamaha has a cheaper MSRP by far..
