Prices ? anyone get any ?

Cats have a 4 year warranty, so actually thats more then the Yamaha.. The Yamaha has a cheaper MSRP by far.. Clutching will be close between the two. But honestly Yamaha has a better reputation for clutching then CAT. Probably for a good reason.
Believe it or not,i have had two dealers today quote me 5 year warrenty, the 3 Yamaha gives you and they both added on another two years from there shop, now that is conferdence in this new motor,i think cat will finally have a good turbo sled left stock that may last the full 4 years w/out to many problems,as long as they now have there TCL and wobble gear set up all straightened out, like I was told by my old cat/Yamaha dealer today.

The Yamaha is 250 more to get the extra 2 years added onto the standard 3 years
Oh that's is interesting,i did not know that was an option, most dealers I spoke with either offer it,making you feel that they are taking that out of there owne skin, and holding your 600 cash back toward the sled, telling you they are giving you a thousand bucks off the list price, but in all honesty they get 400 cash towards that thousand price,so in all honesty they really are giving you 600 off sticker, because you lose your 600 cash completely,so you get the jacket.

Meaning the better clutch is on the Yamaha. I am not a fan of the Team secondary. Unlike the older Team clutch the spline teeth are machined directly into the aluminum sheave. There is not center steel hub pressed, and machined like on the older Doo's or the aftermarket Team clutches. So if you want to spend the extra dough on the Yamaha you get the better warranty, and better clutch. If you go Cat you get a lesser warranty, and a good clutch..... Not great
Do you know if there new team primary is any better than the cat primary? My biggest complaint with the cat primary that came on my 13 turbo was the way they hold there fly weights in the spider, with no shims, and set screw right thru the middle of the ramp, with green locktight, what a crappy set up.

OK final pricing today was on the 2017 LTX-LE this is OTD price, all taxes and setup and everything is in it $ 7,898.64 with a new cover, thats my best price so far. Sled color blue, just need the tall windscreen and mirrors and shield bag, than snow.

Thats the thing about pricing.. Are they just giving the extra 2 years and adding it in without you knowing? either way. I stayed with the 3 years warranty, No accessory cash. On the pricing I listed On a black and orange SE 137"

Bargain!

Best price I have recieved is a $14, 600 with a 5 year warranty on a ltx Le in blue
Plus freight & setup? I am guessing that is w/out taking the $600 cash also? Care to share the dealer :D ?

So far I was told $15,300 + $200 for the extra 2 yr warranty, still getting my $600 cash. No freight & setup. Was also told the invoice is 14,999.

After the 16 Rod problem i'm gonna sit this one out and let time tell on the engine
What makes you feel they have a rod issue on this brand new motor from the ground up,it states that they had put in strong rods for the hp along with new forged pistons with an oil scraper ring, and oil coolers at bottom of each cylinder, new water pump, new oil pump, man the list goes on and on,this is not a viper from last year with a turbo thrown in the old 1049 motor,so if the vipers had faulty rods,it has nothing to do with this motor.

After my 2015 ape xtx trade it is OTD pricing of $7,599 less my 500 deposit will be $7,100 at delivery time. Best price I could find,he gave me 9,100 for my 15 ape but price was list, less tax's and set up.

Congrats on the new sled mnmsnowbeast ;)!. Looks like you got a fair deal from a great dealer.

Which color did you go with? LTX-LE?

$15,470 out the door on an LTX LE, 5 year warranty, no accessories and the dumb jacket. This doesn't include taxes because of a loophole I work on new sleds in the area. MD doesn't have "registration" just a trail permit fee for my home base permit. I buy out of state so no tax there and MD doesn't charge it.

This was setup everything but tax and registration. And no $600 accessory credit. The dealer was near Rochester NY pm me if your in that area

Congrats on the new sled mnmsnowbeast ;)!. Looks like you got a fair deal from a great dealer.

Which color did you go with? LTX-LE?
Thanks brother,i like the blue,it remind me of the color of my 2003 rx1 LTX-LE think it mostly blue, with some white, should be a sweet ride, and with them good shocks, man I cant wait...lol
