The primary clutch on a 2008 Vector should there be some rotational movement back and forth enough to hear a clunking sound. It is the whole clutch that moves.

Why should this be happening?
How can it be rectified?

I doubt your clutch is moving on the Crankshaft. The clutches do rattle a lot. But, if it was loose, you would not go anyplace.

After reading the above thread, what specific problem are you having?

If you are not sure if what you are seeing is right, you may want to ask your dealer to look at it

Perhaps the topic is not worded correctly as it seems to
be confusing to the readers.
What I should have said: Small rotational play back and
forth is this normal? After looking at the parts fiche the
stub that the clutch mounts to is mounted to the crank
on splines so i suspect this is where the play is coming from.
