Problems 3 Bar Map Sensor

No have no cleared it up but made it work lol....have the same 3 bar map sensor but my plug on the sled is different, the 2 tabs on the side of your 3 bar my plug on the sled has the tabs closer to the top...not in the center like the 3 bar so I used a Dremel and shaved the tabs off...don't understand why my wire harness is different on my sled.

You got one of the sensors that still has the tabs on it I received one of the first 3 bar sensors and i had the same problem trimmed it and it’s all good, Ben helped me out to figure it out quickly. I thought they fixed it for all new sensors I wonder if you got an early one?

soo here is good question, i have all TD tunes in my sled along with closed loop and wastegate upgrade. i had been getting 9000rpm no problem, then all of a sudden all i can get is 85-8600 and does not make a diff which tune i put in from 285-330 /17psi-20psi... i am getting the boost but cnat get rpm... runs perfect pulls hard but no rpm... have lowred weight and still get no rpm. Will a bad 3 bar sensor lead to this??

Swap it out and see. I'd say it could.

Thanks Knapp, Its been Baffling Ben and Mike, it pulls friggin hard but no matter what we do it wont pull the 9000 that it did before. even no weight in TAPP and green snow pro on 4th hole on STM 46/36 helix... out of hole it will spike to 88-8900 then drop to 8500-8600 and stays there. i have everything chkd... no boost leaks or exhaust leaks. have everything including closed loop , upgraded wast gate, charge tubes, TS blow off, big intercooler, header, 3" high flo muffler.Ram Air.. etc..
left me pulling my hair out as it runs smooth... so it seams. swapped clutchs and should over rev but wont.

How common is it that these map sensors are failing?

If the 3 bar is bad the sled runs like crap!! (Stumbles and backfires and no power)

No imo from my limited experience the 3bar either works or it doesn't!!!
On the sleds I worked on anyway!!
